Megan Mystery of Navam ( Part 4 )

     After realising that there was a connection between the two paintings, she researched about it day and night. Eventually she got a few answers along the way. She wrote a Thesis on it. In it she first wrote that the name “Navam” means a word that comes from a Tamil word. Navam means nine. No one can accurately predict the early stage of Greek mythology. But a few Greek myths can be traced back to about 3000 to 1100 BCE. It is said to have a total of 6 planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. They compared the name of these planets with their God. The Solar System appeared in the 17th century after Isaac Newton published the Universal Law of Gravitation and Laws of Motion in 1687. William Herschel then confirmed that Uranus is the seventh planet with the help of a telescope.

     Then in 1846 Urbain Le Verrier, with Newton's laws and mathematical calculations, predicted that they would have an eighth planet, Neptune. This was first confirmed by Johann Gottfried Galle. It was followed by Clyde Tombaugh's ninth Pluto in 1930. No one believed such a planet exists because it is just speculation. But in 2006 the International Astronomical Union confirmed this. Which is, in 2006 it was confirmed that there are nine planets in the Solar System. It is a question mark today as to how thousands of years ago the Tamils said there are 9 planets and call them ‘Navagrahas’ and kept them in temples for worship. Another shocking fact is that the first technology called Ultrasound was developed around 1956 to look at the fetus in pregnant women’s womb.

     But Tamils were able predict the birth of an unborn child with ‘Navagrahas’, the nine planets, predict its growth and its future and the time of death. This is an amazing thing.
