Kumari The Lost Kingdom ( Part 2 )

    


     Yes, I am Kumaran. I always had the interest to learn about the history of Tamils ever since I was a kid. So, I learned about Tamil and Tamil people little by little. Tamil Nadu was ruled by The Cheras, Cholas, Pandyas and Pallavas. There is also an indication that the Pandyas ruled over Kumari Kanda. Not only that, but the question arose in my mind as to how many kings would have been in it if the Indian Ocean can be hidden by that continent. Some of my friends and I went to the ocean against the law to find out more about this and conducted our research. This cost us a lot of money and material. We even discussed about stopping this research after getting tired of this sometimes. However, we got down to work regardless of all this for the next generation to live upright.



     One such night, when we went to explore the Indian Ocean, we saw a small island in the distance and we got close to it. When we got close to the island, we saw something that amazed our eyes. It glew brightly all over the island. Not just that but we were amazed to see two soldiers there with gold armour all over their bodies. What island would this be? Who are they? How only this island can glow?


     We had never seen an island like this before in our research, so we went nearby and landed to find out about it. When I first put my feet on the ground I took the sand and was amazed to see the sand of that island in my hand. Even the sand there was glowing. Not only the sand but even the plants were shining. Arun: Kumara, I don’t think this place safe. We’ve never seen such island in these 3 months. Let's get out of here.
Kumaran: What you’re saying is true. But I think something is waiting for us in here.

     When we had finished talking, a few of the technical objects in our hands started to become inactive as we move forward and the twists in the compass kept on moving around without showing any direction. As soon as we were frightened and thought we should leave, in the blink of an eye, several soldiers from behind the trees around the island rounded us up. Light was shining from the “vibuthi’ that the soldiers had applied on the foreheads. After a moment of us standing there not knowing what to do, the trees around us started to grow taller towards the sky. 

     It grew to the point where it covered the star and the moon and also covered the island.
